Consent not to share record across organisation boundaries

In a patients GP Practice or in a PCN Hub a patient may choose not to share their record across organisation boundaries.  This is achieved by selecting Patient does not wish to share the detailed record under Sharing whilst in Consultations:

When this option is selected it writes the following clinical code to the patients record:

Refused consent for upload to local shared electronic record

This is useful to know in the event you cannot open a patients shared record.

Creating a population report like the one below can help staff identify which patients have opted not to share their record:
