Enhanced Access Task Team

If Cross Organisation Tasks need to be sent to GP Practices from the hub and to the Hub from GP Practices then this will need to be completed at all GP Practices and on the PCN Hub.


  • Send Tasks from Hub to GP Practice - create a task team in the GP Practice using instructions below
  • Send Tasks from GP Practices to Hub - create a task team in the PCN Hub using instructions below 


Before setting up a Task Team to receive Cross Organisation Tasks make sure the CrossOrgTasks Data Sharing Agreement allowing Organisations creating tasks for me and Organisations allowing me to create tasks have been activated on the Hub and every GP Practice (Configuration > Data Sharing Manager):



Log out and back into EMIS after activating the Sharing Agreements above.


Set up an Enhanced Access Team


In Configuration > Organisation Configuration select Teams:



Select Add > Add Team:



Create a Team i.e 'Enhanced Access Team' and add members who you wish to administer these tasks:



Make sure the 'Yes' is checked for Allow Acceptance of Tasks


Enable Users to Accept Tasks from Sharing Organisations


Any user who is a member of a team must be enabled to accept workflow tasks from sharing organisations.  Go to Configuration > Organisation Configuration and select Users.  Search for the user you wish to edit.  Open the user account (select Edit User or double click on account), select the Cross Organisation Sharing menu item and check the Yes radio buttons:



Sends a Cross Org Task


When sending a Cross Org Task back to the Patients GP Practice, select Teams, name of the GP Practice, name of their Task Group:
